We will explore best approaches for monitoring and obtaining information from SQL Server and considering hardware, benchmarking, approaches to collection of statistics, using the Index Tuning Wizard and the Database Engine Tuning Advisor, identifying poor performing code, and analyzing SQL Server jobs.
